What is your favorite part about being a Residence Hall Director?
I enjoy getting to be a part of making Baylor home for our students. No two days are the same and no two students are the same which makes this work exciting and challenges me to be my best for the students that I serve. I believe that it is a privilege to do life with people and contribute to their intellectual, spiritually, and emotional development through intentional programs, conversations and relationship building.
What does authentic Christian community mean to you?
Authentic Christian Community is marked by a genuine love for God and others. It is a space where all are welcome and guaranteed to find support, kindness, encouragement, and correction. Authentic Christian Community should drive us to be who God has created us to be, while challenging us to see His likeness in our peers. It is not always pretty, but it is always life giving.
