Communities
Living on-campus at Baylor, you will experience a supportive Christian environment with people and services in place to help you achieve personal growth and academic success. You will have the opportunity to build significant relationships that will transform your life forever. You will experience what it means to be a part of something much bigger than yourself - a community.
At Baylor, you will join nearly 5,000 fellow Bears in the on-campus residential experience. Your living environment influences your social relationships, spiritual growth, and academic journey. You will become a valued member of a supportive, inclusive Christian community with people, services, and programs available to help you achieve personal and academic success.
First-Year Communities
First-Year Communities offer first-year students the opportunity to meet and live with other first-year students who have different interests and majors. These communities, which have a Faculty-in-Residence, endeavor to facilitate personal development and growth. First-Year Community Housing Contracts are for one academic year. Students may not reapply to a First-Year Community, but may apply to a Living-Learning Community, Residential College, or Baylor's Upper-Division Community for their sophomore through senior years at Baylor.
