Positions
Mover
What: Transport belongings from vehicles to rooms.
Position Requirements: Must lift, carry, and go up and down stairs.
Traffic Assistant
What: Wear a vest, stand in the Baylor streets (interior to campus), direct traffic, and answer questions.
Position Requirements: Must be able to stand in the heat. Not asked to lift or carry any boxes, bags, or other belongings.
Tent Assistant
What: Distribute water and snacks to volunteers. Call for medical personnel if an injury or illness occurs. Do not need medical training.
Position Requirements: Can sit outside in the heat (will be in the shade).
Door Holder
What: Hold open an exterior door of a residence hall. Greet students and visitors as they enter building.
Position Requirements: Must stand, give directions, and offer encouragement.
