He serves on the Creative Arts Experience Committee, which oversees the CAE program in the Fine Arts core curriculum for the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Convocation Committee, which oversees Baylor’s annual convocation for the freshman class. He received the Baylor Centennial Professor Award in 2016.
Joining Professor Pounders in Heritage House is his wife, Hope. “I am eager to join the students and staff of the Fine Arts Living-Learning Center at Heritage House. Having often shared artistic, academic, and spiritual experiences with the Fine Arts LLC in the past, I am excited to begin this new journey of living and learning together.”
